In november, the band was Fleet Foxes guest at the great Iceland Airwaves Music Festival in Reykjavik. Muziekblog Consequence of Sound was also there and took a film crew along.
Under the leadership of director Eilífur Örn Þrastarson was there a video made in which Fleet Foxes the song Crack-Up, the title track of their latest album plays. On the stage of one of the halls of the ultra-modern concert hall Harpa was the American band aid of the local choir Graduale Nobili. This women’s choir is particularly well known for its many collaborations with Björk.
The combination of the complex composition of Fleet Foxes and the harmony singing is truly beautiful. The same also goes for the camera work. The entire session is recorded in 1 single shot.
